I have been going over my old paperwork I got with my car. I don't know a lot about my car except that it original color was like a turqoise blue. I came across the title i got with the car. I am the 2nd owner and I look closely to the title and seen something that I havent seen before. It says dealer code 00915. Is this number a real dealer number ? I dont know any dealer numbers but the more info I can find out the better. I really appreciate the help thanks!! Jason

I don't know about your dealer question, do you really have a small block chevy in your car?

Just a note... Pontiacs did not have big blocks or small blocks... they had one block. Referring to your Pontiac motor in those chevy terms usually brings on some pretty harsh reactions. It is always pointed out in craigslist and ebay ads, usually identifying the seller as a non-Pontiac guy. While I am in no way trying to insult you, you should know how others in the hobby look upon the use of those terms... We all learn something new everyday!

Is the paint code on the cowl tag K ? Most of the dealer codes are listed on the www.ultimategto.com site but didn't see one in that configuration over there.

Here in Michigan there is no dealer information on the title. Some of the information on the title is suspect, anyway: Most of the workers I've encountered at the DMV would not have much of a handle on specific Pontiac related "enthusiast" type info. K

Probably a business license ID number.
It's not a dealer zone code number.

yea I like this color too but it would have been nice if the guy who had it before me took off the original paint cause if you pop the hood you can still see some blue under the red or brown or whatever it is lol

Back in the eighties I painted my first car, a 68 GTO that I still own, from it's original VooDoo Green to a 74 Saab color, Carmine Red mettalic. Your car sure looks like the same paint!

I've never heard of a dealer code on the title. I'm wondering if it's a code for the DMV branch that did the title work.
