Jerry:
I definitely plan to be there and weather permitting will drive the GTO to both the auction and the after auction get together. Denny's comments in the newsletter mentioned Dinner? so maybe he was referring to going to your son's place afterwards. I also plan to send a PM and call Forrest - hopefully he and Denise can join us as well. Somebody needs to call Kenny (Getridaone) - do you have his number?

BJ

I won't be going to the auction but I could make it to Lawrenceville for the get together.
Jerry count me in. What time do you think it will be ?

I'm assuming we'll just drive down after the auction is over. Might be hard to estimate the time. I'm guessing 6 to 7ish at this point. Shoot me a PM.

Is there a list of cars for Milt's auction?

Default Auction

Thanks goatwhisperer. That's an incredible list of cars. The price estimates are way off on some of the cars, but I guess the auction house needs to try their best to promote the collection.

Default Auction estimates

Well we will see what happens. I just thought is was pretty cool that the 69 Judge has a higher estimate than the ZL 1 Camaro, As it should.

1 of 5 vs 1 of 69 and a drop top to boot - the math is easy.

There's a base '69 Firebird 400 convertible with an estimated value of $80-$100k. Those cars have never brought that kind of money.

You're probably correct but have you ever seen one with factory leather interior?

Leather interior is a rare option. I wish they offered that on the '69 GTO.

No Milt didn't die in fact he was just out at BJ buying cars.

Multiple unconfirmed rumors as to why, but the official word was he enjoys the hunt more than owning them and was going out hunting again. He didn't sell them all, still has the Firehawk convertible, a nice black Grand Prix 4spd & several of his other cars.

The buyer of the ZL1 & 70 Judge vert is local, we've chatted, I should be checking them out in the next few weeks.

Thanks Boss

I didn't think the 1of1 TripBlk 69 IV JVert would ever change hands until after he passed away ... then with ALL those others being sold in one smack ... kinda made me think of the worse case scenario.

Glad he's still kicking and shuffling.
I've seen the Red 70 IV JVert twice. About 15 years apart on viewings.

Have never seen a ZL1 car in person. Saw a busted block once locally.

The 421SD cars were bringing that money 20 years ago. lil bit strange now

The Judge verts were sweet and seeing Gary's after all these years was cool, but I have to tell you, the Yenko had me at hello!

THAT car was a freakin time machine! Crackled paint and decals, just the right amount of wear, I was in love!

I was with him for most of the day and pretty sure he behaved himself, but he was alone with the car for a while so...who knows?

I took some photos but they're on my PC at home. I'll post some up tonight. Chris is not kidding - that car was amazing.
