i got this with a firebird hood i picked up. what is it from ?

You could order L88 scoops in the speed catalogs and graft them on anything, they also made complete hoods like for Camaro's. Some people actually grafted L88 scoops to, gulp, Firebird hoods in the late 70's early 80's street machine craze, not that I knew anyone that did that to a red Trans Am in 1985 or anything.

I passed up a fiberglass L-88 hood for a Firebird here in a junkyard a few years back. Coulda had it for $100. I like the L88 scoop, but it's distinctly a chevy hood to me.

Ugh... I know that scoop too well. When I bought my '66 GTO in 1980, the previous owner had cut up a good GTO hood and riveted that scoop on.

Too long for a 67-69 camaro hood, those had the sepatate cowl panel to the windshield. Chevelle is probably right. Its bad enough we had to put a big cowl hood on our race car but a L88 hood is just 70s-80s trailer park hotrod.
