I'm pretty sure there was a fix for the heated washer fluid issue before they started disabling them - I had it done to mine and it still works fine. It's a nice feature to have. Either way, the company making the original systems I believe went out of business. A new company, AlphaTherm, makes a plug and play replacement - http://www.alphathermusa.com/heatedwash-AT-37GM.html

Congrats on the new truck Harry. I dont have any personal experiance with one, but my cousin loves his and a friend in the GTO club uses his 08 to pull his GTO with an enclosed trailor all the time.

there "fix" wasn't much of a "fix". all it did was added a 30amp inline fuse to the harness. we did several hundred of these fixes only to see most come back with in a few monthes to get there $100.

sounds like an awesome truck. would love to have an 07+ avy someday. just bought a 03 tahoe for now. hopefully an avy will replace it in a couple of years.
