61 pontiac thermostatic vacuum switch for the vacuum operated tripower. Are these available? If so, where?

Actually...
I have one out of a '64 unit...if it would work on yours. I dunno.

Curious...
anyone know if there is a difference between what was used on '64 GTO units and a '61 unit? Two ports....triangular head and @ 3" long. Bolts into front of intake w/2 bolts. Cannot get my pix to load. Thanks. Ron

I looked up the part number, and it appears they used the same switch from 1959 through 1964.

Control Unit
Pictured is a 1960 factory illustration showing the triangle thermo switch. These show up on the auction site at times, but most are in poor condition.

the one. Can't really comment on condition other than it looks fine and I believe I was fair on the price. Looks like they may be rebuildable? Part is headed out today. Thanks, PY!

Received the switch, and they are rebuild-able. As long as the actual sender is still operable.
