I am a big fan of the original Baldwin/Motion cars. Here are a couple colored pictures of a Baldwin/Motion Vega.

When we watch that chase scene, we always count the hubcaps coming off the Charger.

Found these looking for something else:

My mother, probably in the early 1950's -

Mom is now in her mid 70's, still living in the house I grew up in.

My father, mid 1950's -

Dad passed away in 2005.

I know I have some more pics of him looking cool while driving some of his big bad machines back then. I'll have to get them scanned and post 'em up.

Chrysler was king of aggressive (and suggestive) advertising. GM had changed their advertising after the 1963 no-racing ban, and toned things down quite a bit. GM still had cool ads after 1963, but they didn't show their cars on dragstrips, smoking tires, or engaged in racing activities.

I always liked them big cube Fords. Sorry, I'm a come out of the closet Ford Junkie.
Go ahead and fill'er up with high-test. It only costs 6 bucks. (remember that?)

The head is very intersting. That looks like a front mount supercharger set up. There was a Mickey Thompson front mount timing cover on e-bay a few days ago. I bid up to 555.55 for it and got nothing. I wanted it bad but money is tight, that was my limit. Did anyone here buy it?

There are more pics of this car in this thread. That is a Tempest 4 cyl motor. There is a 4-71 mounted on the left side with Hilborn injection.

Here is another view of the same car. That is Mickey Thompson knealing down on the ground.

Default eye problem...

I did not see that was a fuel tank in front of the engine from my previous post. So much for attention to detail. Wow another cool picture of a blown 4cyl. Pontiac. I can't get enough, show me more!
