I don't know what happened to him or his GTX but it sat at the track for a couple of years, I ran a Cuda there for years and had to run him several times, great guy, and a hell of a racer to boot.

No disrespect to America's Dairyland here, but that is a very unusual Hurst big Pontiac that Linda is next to in this Pic. It is the only one I have seen that has a black area on the upper body. Wish you could see the whole thing.

Love that Cool Hand Luke photo..."Takin' 'em off Boss!"

Nikki Phillips has sort of obtained a little cult following, I think it's just because of all the Linda Vaughn and Hurst Girls pics that are on the web now, everyone wants to know who she is.

Jim, that's the car I thought Deadhead was referring to.
I spoke with Mike Pemberton a couple of weeks ago, and he mentioned he had taken the GP to the Wangers event. He said Mr. Wangers had given him a great location to park, and it looks to be next to the "Tiger".

Jim:
What is the proper way of referring to the GeeTo Tiger car? I've never heard it pronounced - just seen it in print.

Do you pronounce it as simply G.T.O. or is it Gee Two Oh or Gee Toe or just Gee To?

Yeah. Thanks for posting that. I have never seen a Pic of that car before, but I knew it was a '67 by the rear seat in the Pic. Sweet car. I would like to see Jim taking THAT down the track.

Well - it certainly wasn't Hoffa, so it had to be Owsley Stanley or Jerry Garcia. Stanley was from Brisbane wasn't he? Heard he died a few days ago.
