How are some of you voting more than once? If I go back to the page I can't vote again,it just gives me the option to change my vote.

If you are referring to the cloth type like on a Merc or Bmw yes it is and really sets his car apart. It looks sooooooooo good in person.

Networking to get votes is fine, multiple voting is cheating, and not the way a Road Rocket rolls.... oh, BTW, "The guy with the 55 is from the Road Rocket Car Club" also happens to be the car show chairman for the Indy 500 World of Wheels. You do remember the World of Wheels don't you?? Didn't you have a good time? Best indoor show in Indiana. Your car is very nice, one of the nicest Pontiacs I have seen in recent years. You should not have to cheat to win. |

I just got an email from the show and they have added some new criteria to the award that levels the playing field so all of the internet voting in the world only accounts for 1/3 of deciding who wins. |

Don't worry,we've been through this before on this site, once the Pontiac starts to win,the Chevy & Ford guys start whining and "something must be wrong,a Pontiac can't win". ![]() So NOW it is decided that the voting rules will change,1/2 way through the contest! Well we know who won the whining contest. JMO

I just don't like an outsider coming on here accusing you of "cheating". Would you have accused anybody else of cheating if you were losing. We've seen this before here, once the Pontiac starts winning,it ruffles feathers.

OK thanks hear are the new rules witch are fair thing can get out of control with computer voting it like idol
Thanks for all of your support and fun in voting for your cars on www.suede-and-chrome.com. Based on some suggestions from Show management, we’re going to add a great new element to the award. As you know, a panel of industry icons and experts are judging the Golden Builder Award. They would like to participate in the “Local 12” People’s Choice Award as well. So, on Thursday night, they will rank the top 3 cars using the same criteria. To keep things fair, we’ll add one more element, so that we’ll have 3 components to the award. The final 1/3 will be a vote by the show vendors. Each vendor will have one vote to select a car that best demonstrates the spirit of hot rodding and restoration. So….the award will comprise; 1/3 Online Voting, 1/3 Panel Voting, 1/3 Vendor Voting. We hope you understand the need to adjust the judging slightly to make the playing field level for everyone involved. Our intent is to make this fun, and more importantly recognize your hard work. This new wrinkle ensures that the vendors and industry icons get a chance to see your car and hopefully meet you too. |
