A Q-tip and some rubbing alcohol does the trick.

Default 78 project

here are a few pictures of a 78 that is being finished while I'm gone. i have some better pictures, but the files are too big for this site. that and the Internet over here is slow. when we talk about a mouse, it is not what you use to move the pointer, it's what powers Afghan's networks.

bought on here as an unfinished project, no motor or trans. body is VERY solid, no rust that i can find. i had a 78 400 that was built by Dave Hillard(1050goat)sitting in my garage, Jim(his Dad) went thru a 350 turbo for me, so it should run pretty good. 400+.030, zero decked, trw pistons, tomahawk forged rods, comp 268XE cam, 1.52 comp rockers, 6X4 heads milled, 9.2-1 compression, performer intake, 78 800 cfm Qjet, ram air III exhaust manifolds, true dual 2 1/2 exhaust, 350 turbo, L88 converter(approx 2000 stall), 3.42 posi. still debating tires. either 255x60x15 all the way around, or 255 up front and 275x60x15 on the rear. depends on how it sits once we get it together and get it on the ground. will be using the factory 15x8 snowflakes, but polished and painted gold instead of gray in the center spokes. mostly urethane bushings, new front springs, and a set of old rear springs that were in good shape off of a TA i parted years ago.

Open your pics, then up top click the "open" drop down menu, click "paint" , now in paint click RESIZE, try like 40, or 40% reduction, then click save as a JPG on your desktop. then you can load up on here. Thanks for posting!

GEN II (2) RACING PRODUCTS...aka www.pro-touringf-body.com . Dave's shop (ptfb) is in our neck of the woods. I'm not sure if I've taken this car to Barrington but I have been there with another '79 I owned (brown/brown). I have seen a 2X87 (10th Anniversary) at the Palatine show that looks identical to my car. The guy converted the car to Platinum Silver with Carmine interior so it looks very close to mine and the guy attends local shows.

Now that it's legally mine and I've been doing some work to get it roadworthy, here is my latest acquisition:

Pretty clean and mostly original 1977 Trans Am with a 400, deluxe interior, and practically nothing else. It's fun to drive!
