I was really impressed with the work - not as impressed with the factory paint job however. There are several spots where there was dirt or slag in the paint, drips, runs, slides in the metallic etc.

Color is Sierra Copper #63

Cool car Duramax!

Here are a few more I took this weekend at Norwalk...

It performed flawlessly on the track racking up a blistering 17.22 backed up by a 17.25.

Gary, honestly I got bored when it was in 3rd & 4th!

I've got a couple of videos, one for each run, taken from my Droid phone taped to the rear view mirror but they are around 30mb each. The video's are VERY cool, had background music supplied by Van Halen playing on the 8-track. I lost lots of traction off the line, it just didn't hook up, then again with the 1-2 shift, but then there was the rest of the track where I waited....and waited.....and waited until I finally went across the line. Did a killer burnout behind Bruno's trailer Saturday night - better than the SD Formula could accomplish, but still it's a bit of a slug at the track!

Don White provided the music, VH playing through the 8-track.

Cool! You two guys could get in trouble cruising that thing around! What car did Don bring? Wish I could have been there too. Don would have enjoyed taking one of his old round ports down the track! He knows how fast my car is

He brought his 71,000 original mile 4spd 78 Bandit - the cars looked good together.

Nice 77 SE!!!! Wish I was lucky enough to have that one let alone the one that got away...
I'm taking this as your joking about the whole 77 bandit T/A and the no such thing of a 78 bandit... I can never tell on these forums when someone is joking or being serious.

So I'm saying I'm sorry in advance if your just joking... Anyways, If your not...
There are no so called 76-80 bandit T/A's... There are only Special Edition 76-81 T/A's. But there is a 1981 Bandit T/A (not by GM), here's the link...

Did anyone find any 8 track head cleaner so I can clean my 8 track player so it doesn't sound like Alvin and the Chipmunks?

A Q-tip and some rubbing alcohol does the trick.
