Nice looking firebird and '65 Impala SS. Is the Impala a 327 car?

Default 1968 400 Firebird

I've owned this car for 6 years and never taken a picture of it. I have always used the prior owner's pictures so I thought I would post these.

It has 63,000 miles and has been repainted and had the bumpers and emblems replaced. The vinyl top, engine, transmission, rear, interior, etc is original. The interior is completely original--carpet and door sill plates included. You can see that the carpet is slightly faded.

I don't run it too hard, as I assume that the orgininal timing chain is still in it.

It came with the deluxe hub caps which I have and white striped tires. I plan to return it to that look sometime. I am not sure exactly which wheels I need. Maybe someone has a set?

Here a pic of mine when I bought it. The pic in my signature is about a year ago. I've actually got it back together and was driving it but decided to rewire it so the interior is out now.

Default Just bought a 68 FB

Here is the one I just bought. I am excited! I am a big car guy so one of these is going to be cool!

It's a 68 original 350 auto car w/parchment seats. Its driver quality now but will be nicer as I get the funds and time.

David wins! For those that haven't seen Dave's Birds, I think I can accurately state that his two 69 Birds have won every show they've been in, including top honors (best of show) at the 09 Pontiac/GTOAA Nationals, several Cruisin' Tigers shows (350+ Pontiacs) here in Illinois, and the Trans Am Nationals. I think he even won a local Pontiac show or two.

Simply stunning Firebirds. The invoices on these cars are impressive, his cars are really restored to perfection, and he used all GM parts.

Default '69 Ram AirIII conv. PHS

Found this Bird advertised in Hemmings in the fall of 1980. The ad read: 1969 Firebird 400
conv. ram air loaded, needs repair! It had a carb fire in 1973 and was parked. Car was complete and untouched, but the 7029270 carb was missing. Car was stored until 2006
and then restored.
