My driveway is still a little too muddy. Maybe in a few weeks.

Unfortunately not me. I have to admit I'm pretty ashamed of myself. About 2 years ago I took my 62 Catalina that I had just converted to 8 lugs, 4SPD, 3:42 gears and added factory A/C drove it about 30 miles parkred it in the garage, removed the front suspension and rebuilt it then shoved the car over to the corner of the garage and left it. In my defense though I did repaint the house, replaced a lot of the facia boards, built a veranda, repalced the front door, the kitchen floor and the mouldiing on the house.
The motor at the back of the Cat is the one I'm rebuilding for my Cat. the green one in front of the car is a friends 440 motor. My poor Catalina has turned into a storage shed for parts and a place for junk to be stored under it. |

I'm not cruising yet as the Ventura still needs a few things done but hopefully I'll be riding in somebody else's '63 soon! It's all downhill in Skylah, right?

Riiiiiight. Any time. As long as the weeds etc. don't get so high that we can not get out.

Been driving the Bonneville for about 6 weeks (even without heat), and we just liberated Mrs. Engine-Ear's Star Chief from the garage.
Recharged the battery, pushed it out of the garage, added 1 oz of gas to the carb and it lit right off after a 6 month nap. Fiteen minutes after it was running we then drove it 75 miles. Fuel for the soul.

For the love of God, man! Dig that car out and drive it. SOON!!!
![]() Your car's too nice to be sitting back there all buried up like that! Besides...You got all that stuff done, so now it's time for a well deserved trip. I've gotten my GP out a few times so far this year, but we're getting a lot of rain these days, not to mention it seems the weather picks weekends to be crappy. That's ok though, more to come. Quote:

We are taking a 3 day weekend from next Friday and heading out on winery tour in my '66 GP. Probably going to put 400 miles under it.
Then a fortnight later we are using it again for what will be about 700 miles of touring in the Victorian high country. Got some real nice cozy Bed & Breakfasts booked. The Grand Prix might get half an inch of ice on it overnight but we will be snug in bed... Can't wait ![]() Ian ![]() ![]()

Got the flexplate in the Prix last night. Bitch fought me the entire time but it's done except for a trans mount. OE one fell apart after 40 yrs, imagine that.
Now she needs a BATH! if it ever stops raining that'll happen.
