Not bad at all! Boy, you sure are "hard-headed". Since I've sold my TA motor I've done a 500 Caddy, a BBC,Yamaha Banshee, a mustang w/ SBC another Mustang w/ SBF, grown fatter and balder and you STILL haven't got a roll-bar in that thing??!!Do we need to pass around an offering plate and take up a collection to get that thing legal where you can finally relax and make an all-out, banzai pass? LOL..J/K

Well in good air and the light wheels it ran 10.99@124-as fast as the old roller race gas motor just doesn't 60 ft as good with a tighter convertor. Made the pump gas motor to hopefully go slow enough I didn't need a roll bar! Got a 500" IA2 going in a 79 Camaro that will get a cage-that is now the pressing project-it may get those High Ports I got from you if the E heads don't get us 10.0s. Hopefully I can run it at next years PSN.And just finished a stroked 470ci/409 Chevy W motor that made 600hp and a really flat TQ curve for a 64 Impala SS.

Great Job Larry, I know it was lot of work getting your Formula ready for the track. Its all the little things that add up to make it difficult to get a new car to the track. So how did you solve the driveshaft issue?

I didn't get my junk ready in time. But the nail in the coffin was the tow truck making nasty noices the Thursday before the event, so no way to trailer down to Ennis. I did make the show, some nice cars...Red 73 SD...nice...

I had a hard time getting anyone to go to the show with me....just too hot...and no one wanted to crew for me at the track.

With the nice weather in March and April, I think there would be more folks involved...I know we may have to dodge some rain that time of year...but damn the heat is just too much for most of us nowdays.

I'm about to start working on my GTO now too. Just need to get the KRE heads set up for the short block and drop in the motor. I want to be ready to cruise in the fall.

talk with soon

I missed all the action... This year has sucked with a broken leg. Getting over that now maybe I can get my pile of bolts back together. Well maybe next time. Thanks for posting the pics!
Cooke put that red beast back together, and getter done!
Jim, Did you run your car?

Thanks Sean, sorry you missed the race but yes it hot as heck and I won somehow by not screwing up at the tree. A guy at work carefully shorted my driveshaft at his shop @ home. He does great work, no vibration at all! It's a tad short and looks like I can switch to TH400 yoke and still be ok. Gonna try that short tail TH400 I got laying around in place of the M20 which is stuck in second gear and I think its internal damage besides the clutch being a joke. Hope to hit track again later this summer and a MUCH lower ET.
Headed outta town this weekend but will call you when I get back.

I was looking for you John. There were actually 3 early Tempest/Lemans there this year.
