I found a Lakewood built 72 LeMans sheet inside the driver's door panel, door handle punched right thru it. Not sure on Pontiac built 72.

Ive looked under rear seats and atop fuel tank and no build sheet. My '72 Goat has been sitting tucked away for 25 years so I dont expect the previous owner cared about snagging the build sheet way back then. I'm wondering... are there any other hiding spots that have been confirmed on '72 GTO models? Ill look next behind the door panels I guess. Thanks

Thanks! Makes me want to pull off the door panel this weekend on my 71 Lakewood GTO. I'm pretty sure it has never been off the car yet.

Cover over the VIN if you need to, or want to. I've been collecting and comparing 70 and 71 Judge build sheets lately and making some nice finds on little known / hidden aspects of them. Some guys already know everything, that a lot of us would like to know. So its beneficial and rewarding. 71 Judge thread is already going. 70 Judge thread is about to start. Would appreciate all examples that can be obtained. Thanks Man

Sure Baron, no problem. First pic is of the one from the top of the tank, second is under the carpet, and third is one I typed up using the two of them to get the complete numbers. When you get the 70 Judge thread going, put these in it if you want. Stripes show A, then an AA beside it. The stripes on my car have never been removed or altered, they are yellow/black/red. Hope this helps.

That would be an excellent find if it was there!
