Default Don't use synthetic gear oil!

As far as I know, Muncies do not work well with full synthetic oil. I haven't tried it, but thats the word on the street

That's correct, regular ole 90 weight is best. Synthetic will cause it to leak out the front since there is no seal.

I have a Hurst super shifter in my car and it was having trouble engaging 2nd. It had a shift stop bolt that was hitting the hump during acceleration. Removed the bolt and no more problems. I have a poly trans mount too. Look at everything.
