Yes -

In modern times (like GMT800 and GMT900), there was a 2500 series Light duty crew.

Even as far back as the old C/K/R/V trucks (1973-1989 ish) there was a 3/4 ton crew cab.

Um, yep . . .

Been building 1500HD crew cab pickups since what - '01? 1500HD's were in reality a 2500 LD pickup, with an 8600#+ GVW 8-lug hubs and axles.

Been building REAL 1500 (six-lug) half ton crews since '04 or '05.

Isn't the phrase "S10 crew cab" an oxymoron??

Hah! My brother in law had one. The most useless "truck" ever. There is more space in the back of my wife's station wagon than in the "bed" on that thing.

From what I remember they did make an old body style crew cab in at least the 2500 (I would imagine they would have offered it in 3500 too), because I almost bought one. I believe it was a 98'. Pretty rare around here, that's why I wanted it,but it was at a dealership and was overpriced IMO.

I remember seeing a GMC Kodiak back in 1991 the Summernats. Basically built on a semi-truck sized chassis, with a 4-door cab that looked more like a crew pickup truck cab or a Suburban body with the back portion missing.
