Boost,
I will post a pic or 2 up later this morning so you can see. I might be able to make a pencil tracing too that you can use for a template and i can email it to you and you can use it as a guide. |

Hey Red:
Thanks for posting pic and the offer. Here's the reason I said what I said: First pic is a 66 to dash and second pic is the 67 (all original...) Notice no marks? BTW, sorry for the brief hijack...Got caught up in the dash dilemma. |

I have a spare '66 bezel that is an original A/C bezel.
I have a '67 bezel that I can't get to right now, but I think it may be an A/C bezel too. I'd sell both of them if anyone is interested. I'll dig out the '67 bezel to see if A/C for sure.

I went to work full time last week and that is good news for the car but I didn't get to do anything to it. I still need to get one seat frame sand blasted. Then I can start to reassemble them. I will have a few questions when I get there so Y'all need to put your thinking caps on.
I have not heard from my painter so I can only assume that he hasn't done anything. I may call him this week to get an update.

I just got a call from my painter. He wanted to make sure of what part got painted what finish. Hopefully, he'll get my interior parts done this week.

Well, I hope everyone is doing good. We are enjoying some cool dry weather down here. I got my loaner sand blaster repaired and spent 6.5 hours blasting the other seat frame, painting and reassembling it. I worked 4 hours on the first frame a couple weeks ago.
I know the frames are supposed to be bare metal but I used a cold galvanizing paint to protect them. My wife bought me a set of exterior door handles from a fellow PYer for my birthday. She got them for $50.00 shipped. Here are the latest totals: My Labor @ 445 hrs ..........$8,900.00 Parts ............................$13,284.51 Outside Labor ..................$7,801.00 Gifts ..............................$1,609.87 Total ............................$31,595.38

I did mine without any help so that should tell you how easy it is! The hardest part was attaching the bottom side springs. I don't think I had the right tool so I made do with a variety of pliers.

Well, I went to see my car during visitation hours yesterday. It is resting comfortably after undergoing facelift surgery. Actually I guess you could call it tail lift surgery. The rear corner has been cut and moved. Now, all that needs to be done is some minor welding and grinding.
I also put the door belltline moldings on at Norman's request. He ran into a problem with the 64 GTO and still has it in the paint booth. Seems like the owner didn't want to replace the wiring and the car almost burned up when they started it up to load it on the trailer. I'll make another post about it.

When he jambed the car out the top of the doors were painted. I don't ask questions, just do what I am told.
