Good point

I've had my car for 20 years, it would be weird for it to be a different color. I sure would love a 4 speed in Aleutian Blue though.

UGH! I recently sold my Aleutian Blue/black vinyl/4-speed 68 GTO to fund my Carousel Judge... Not sure I'd do that again!

Well just a few things then to the booth. Paul we used the 3m flex epoxy ez sand on the endura and that stuff is great. I never thought the bumper would look as straight and line up as it turned out. A lot of bending twisting and adjusting and i think it looks great. Found paint PPG Globe?($$$) Got a qt. and going to cut the jams and trunk to see what it looks like. Painter said he was going to add flex agent and do the whole car with it said it would hurt and would resist chips and dings better???

I don't think it will hurt either. That's what you meant I believe?

To be honest, when I was looking for a car the last color I wanted was voo doo. I think thats beacause thats all I remember seeing when I was in my teens, voo doo with a black vynil top. But w/o the vynil roof I think it looks really good. We just took these pics on new years day. Gotta lose those cheap a$$ tires for some red lines

The most beautiful '68 I've seen was Aleutian Blue with a teal vinyl top and a turquoise interior. Such a classy color combo. One day...

Your car looks great! The fact that it's such a common color is my only real hang up. I dumped my Radial T/As over over the summer for a set of redlines. They were expensive, but the red really pops against the green.

When I get some fresh paint on mine, I might add the optional rally pinstripe along the rocker just to mix it up. You don't see it very often and it would make my car a ringer for the one in the famous Woodward ad.

It is interesting to me that they actually changed the formula for Verdoro after 68. The 69-70 Verdoro is a shade lighter and appears more metallic when next to the 68 shade... I assume with the addition of Midnight Green in 69 they wanted more of a difference in the color offerings? I'm going by my paint chip book from 1973 and my dealer paint chips... NOT pics of cars today!
