Most clips of the new tunes are available on youtube, and there are a few of the complete songs there as well. The new record is slated for release Tuesday, and my copy should be in the mail before that. I can't wait! So far, I haven't heard anything I don't like, although I too will have my favorites.
Nevertheless, if you're a fan of the first VH record, I doubt you'll be disappointed with this new one. It's thick. It's heavy. It's old school rock-n-roll, and there's not a power ballad to be found! UH-HUH! Don't get me wrong, I too love the Sammy era, and there's no question he's the better singer, but that's of little concern. The tone Eddie has on this new record is outstanding! And man is he using a lot of the 'Wah' pedal. Very atypical for Ed, so of course I'm super excited to hear it! Remember, at the end of the day, this IS new Van Halen. Lord only knows if we'll ever have more of that. Pick up the new album (I mean really, is $15 too much to spend for a new VH record?!) and get your concert tickets. You'll kick yourself later if you don't! Time keeps rollin' by, so drive more Pontiacs, and listen to more Van Halen!!!

just kidding I love original VH to death. Most of the clips sound good and some are pretty heavy tunes. As for Sammy being the better singer, IMO Dave is the superior vocalist with a much greater range than the other. I plan on splurging and buying the release on Vinyl!!

Love 'em both but give me Sammy every day. DLR was always too much of a "sqealer" for me vocally. This whole conversation makes me feel old. Handsome but old. LOL.
