i don't know if it means anything or not but, he did buy the exterior paint. He showed it to me and I'll have to admit he is using the best paint that Wal-Mart has to offer. And, he didn't scrimp on the other stuff either. He bought fine bristle brushes for the detail work and high dollar foam rollers for the big areas.
I helped him take the trunk lid back off so he could re paint underside after doing some work on it.
Now, it's just a matter of time. One question, how long before paint will go bad in the can?

Its a good thing he didnt by the interior paint, it would never last.
