Is it a slim jim 3-speed auto? If it is, i have one from a 61 catalina with a 389. The starter bolts to the bellhousing on the trans. If this trans will work, pm me.

You might want to look at the full size section on the message board about choosing a conversion to a TH350 or TH400 instead of spending a lot of money on the old hydro.
