I was just questioning how you get 23 mpg on average when not one owner I have read on a dozen or more sites is reporting the same? Including myself. This is a big, important topic on other forums, with a growing number of owners who feel something is "not right" about the mileage claims. While on that subject...and all this "mechanic qualifiications" talk.....didnt you, a few years ago or so, post (after Scott M questioned or outed you) that you were not a mechanic, but ran a steam cleaning machine or some automated parts washer in some shop?

My job has been in on my page for years here (QC engineer) which you've curiously

looked on my profile multiple times, and if it makes you happy I was half owner

of an small automotive machine shop.

The reality is you most likely read that on some of my older threads and decided to

make up something based on that.
