TEMPERATURE GAUGE SENDER
Hi Guys, Just recieved my water temperature sending unit from highly recommended Lectric Limited Inc. for my '67 GTO with rallye gauges. The unit they sent me P.N. 0640283 has a vertical spade terminal coming out the top. Is this correct? I thought the terminal was horizontal like their P.N. 01513321 that is listed for a '65 GTO. Can anyone clear this up for me? Thanks in advance for your help.

The one for the 66 is a button top not a spade if you have ralley gauges. I bought the one with the spade connector and it was wrong I got the button one and everything is working great.

Gage temp sending unit is what's called the parts business as " button style". It has what looks like a nail head on the top. Yours (the one pictured) is called "blade style". Temp gages usually take button style.

The 67 temp sending unit for gauges is the flat spade type as pictured in my post above. Various years as well as gauge or warning light units were different.
