Default PY GTO paper catalog??

i recieved my new catalog the other day (12A). i noticed some of the part numbers and titles are in black, while others are in red. all of the decriptions/comments are in blue. i couldn't find anything in the catalog to explain this. what is the significance of the two different color titles?

I believe the decriptions in red indicate a new items they are carrying.

Yes, red is for the newest items they now have added, or.... those "coming soon". And the 2012 catalog is the nicest I've goten so far. They did a very nice job on this one.

Just placed an order last week out of the new 12A catalog. Jon Wacholtz was nice enough to bring a case of new catalogs to our latest Land of Lakes GTO Club meeting.

Upon receiving my order I noticed two Price Changes

RPU68 68-72 Z-Bar Kit Catalog Price $235, Invoiced $269.
RPU362 69-72 Hurst Shift Rod & Tab Set Catalog Price $189, Invoiced $229.

Total difference of $74.

Why the different price? especially right after the "NEW" catalog comes out?

Ccass or somebody please advise.
Thanks John

Hi John,
Sorry about that. The Z-Bar kit included a replacement clutch fork at the $235.00 price and that fork was discontinued about 2 or 3 months ago. We now include a correct reproduction fork in that kit from a new supplier but this new correct fork is $40.00 more. So therefore that kit price has to be raised as well. As far as the RPU362 that was just a manufacturer price increase. A lot of suppliers raise their pricing at the start of the new year and that was around the time that we were finishing the catalog so that may have just not made it in this recent catalog. But there are still price increases from manufacturers that can come at anytime of the year so we are constantly updating pricing.
Thanks!
Ed

Called PY to follow up arround May 1, couldn't talk to a real person so I left a message on the catalog line. No response and no catalog as of today, so I ordered another one online today. We will see what happens. I hate to use this forum for this issues, but I went through the "chairs" so to speak.

Any number of things, both within our control and out of our control, could prevent you from getting your catalog. e-mail me your mailing information and I will see that one is sent first class in the next US Mail pickup most likely tomorrow.
