have a chance to get some nice wheels and tires for my 65, however im not sure they will fit and want to be sure before I jump on them, the tire sizes are as follow
front:18x8 with a 2 offset on a 235/40/18 rear: 18x10 with a 4 offset on a 255/50/18

Have 18x8 Boss 338 wheels on my 65. 4.5 backspace +2mm offset, 235/40/18 front 255/45/18 rear. 10" wide wheels will fit but you have to nail the back spacing. Early A body wheel wells are smaller. At that, i had to trim the lip of the wheel well up to the trim on the rear.. Leaves about 1/2" between the sidewall and the lip. No problems with the fronts unless at full lock and hit a good bump and then rub is very minor.

I think Im goin to go with some 17x8 front and rear with a 4.5" backspace and a +2mm offset.
