Here are my pics from the show. Sorry my camera must have been on the wrong setting as they turned out dark.

that's the Carousel car that had the "correct" yellow Z-bar...until it wasn't. Never did figure that one out. John does good work...so good , in fact, that his "modified" Judge beat our "restored" Judge in the "Best Restored" class...in Michigan. Lowered with four wheel disc brakes...wrong wheels...yada yada. Sorta what drove me out of the hobby. Besides...we drove our car there and his was fresh out of the "Winner's Circle" from the year prior. I agree that there should be a "trailer queen" class. Not really fair to the true enthusiasts. Not that it matters to me...as I build them to enjoy. Checkbook hobbyists don't impress me much either. Just sayin' Ron

I always looked at it as indoor shows and National Concours categories are more geared for the "trailer cars". Local car shows, cruise nights and popular vote are more set up for people who drive them. We all have our reasons why we enjoy our GTO's, race, show, cruise or all three. John's cars are amazing, I look forward to seeing them at the National events along with all the cool GTO's that are there.

Beautiful cars but completely impractical. You might as well have a life sized model. Kind of reminds me of this scene from Spinal Tap.

Cool Seriously...

the ULTIMATE is the Pure Stock Musclecar Drag Races. All those cars look to be Best of Show winners at ANY event...yet they are doing exactly what they were made to do. As nice as these trailer queens are...I would take one of the Glasgo GTO's over ANY other...but that's just me. I want a dog that hunts! This one would do, as well! Ron

Default RE

My 69 Judge Vert had red oxide floors, partial inner trunk wells, seat divider, floors and underdash/inner firewall metal. Basically the whole inside of the car. Also had it under the car near the frame/body edges. Black was sprayed over it but it was not covering it completely. It is a Baltimore car.
