Thank you BLKBRD and everyone who is ordering, and who will be!
The stripes are still not in my hands yet, but on Monday or Tuesday I should be able to give everyone a date they will be mailing out. I'm sorry I won't be able to make to PSN. I had hoped to make it and have stripes on hand for inspection and purchase, but timing just didn't work for that.

Update:
I'll have the stripe kits in hand early next week (week of June 18). For those of you who have already ordered, I will try to have yours in the mail before the end of that same week. I'll post pictures of course.

Thanks cnc! This picture is taken on the screen printing table.
The shaker opening will be cut and picked out when the sheet moves to the cutting table and before the transfer paper is applied.

That's funny right there!
In all seriousness, thank you Craig for all of your help with the color tweaks. I know I was a bug at times, but your input and feedback helped get the colors just right

Hey Craig, now that I think about it, you are probably talking about the blue stripes from the picture above, not the white stripes we spent so much time on. I agree, the color in the picture above is not correct. It's funny, when I posted this yesterday from work I didn't even notice. I've reached out to the printers to let them know. My thought is they used the blue ink from the letters instead the turquoise from the blue/green stripes.
Here is a sample of the correct color next to some NOS stripes. I'll have them correct this on Monday. Thanks for the head's up.

I know a lot of research has been done and I'm sure at this point nobody really wants to question what the correct color for the blue stripes should be. However, I was looking at an old picture of my car that was taken in 1971 when the car was a year old and while the colors are pretty washed out, it still looks like the stripe matched pretty close to the scoop color.
Any thoughts? I'm just hoping the new ones don't look too Aqua colored.I don't really remember it looking much like an aqua, but it was a long time ago that ours had the original stripes. I have already ordered a set from you and am excited about seeing them in person. As for the set that you say is the wrong color from that earlier pic, I might be interested in them. -Larry |

Yeah, apparantly quite a few cars left the factory without the nose birds due to some production problems....something to do with wrinkling I think.
The dealer would call you back to have them installed when available. Ours never was put on. Because it was never there,I may not put it on. I think I kind of like it without...we'll see. |

If I had a white car, I think I'd order them "custom" in the pure blue
