I thought I would post a couple of pic's of my 69 Sprint as it came out of a decade long hybernation!!! It is off to my buddies shop to finally adress the pully misalignment caused when installing the 301CI OHC-6. My Astre finally came home from the paint shop, and I needed the parking space for reassembly. So I guess that finally kicked my but into gear to do something with it>

Some updated pics since I have replaced my Cammer, not original to this car btw, to a 400/461. I also updated the front suspension with Eibach springs, KYB shocks all around and a new 400 hood. I am keeping the Sprint emblems on the rocker panels as a tribute to the original Cammer I had, Phoenix who met an untimely demise at Texas World Speedway in 1994. I am thinking of leaving off the hood emblems to let people guess what is under the hood.

Nice build, Dennis.
I often wondered how bad ass my '67 bird would've been if I had dropped a 455 inside. Welcome to the club.

Here's my 68 Firebird. It has a 68 400 YS motor with #16 heads, and an 068 cam. The trans is a Muncie M-20 running back to a 10 bolt rear with 3:55 gears and an Eaton posi.
It's an original Verdoro green car with a white gut and a white vinyl top. ![]() ![]() ![]()

I don't think I've ever posted a pic of my car on here.
It currently has a 455/t400, stock axle and suspension, Fikse Profile 5s wheels. I recently installed a Ron Davis radiator, March style track, and Vintage air. I have DFI and a t56 I'm going to install. Future plans: Fix body and repaint white build a 3 link rear suspension with 9 inch, mini tub build a front sub with C5 parts I have already Replace the 455 with an E head 461 (unless I decide I can afford an all aluminum 505 lol) Baer 14 in brakes all around Corbeau LG1 seats ![]() Engine bay, nothing too fancy yet ![]() Installed gauges and a steering wheel when I did the AC

Wow, some beautiful First Gens on this site and lots of great pontiac information.
here are a few shots of my 68 coupe for this thread. 462, 4-speed Muncie, 4-wheel power discs, Power steering, 3.08 posi, looks stock from the outside and in the interior, but more to it than meets the eye. Here is a link to my Site if anyone is interested in more information on my restoration which I did 99% myself in my garage over the last 5 years. Medhat 1968 Firebird Resto ![]() ![]()
