Here are a couple of progression photos of my 462 ci going into my '63 Chevy C-10, short bed, Fleetside shop truck.

The classic reversal of the Pontiac with a chevy engine. Looks great and it'll pull anything you ever need pulled with that truck. I had a 455 in my 3/4 ton Jeep wrecker and you never even knew it had a car hanging on the back.

Thanks! Yeah, I built it with towing our horse trailer in mind...targeting a lower RPM operating range for my torque and Hp. Here's the dyno sheet.

That should pull any horse trailer up any hill without any problem, nice big fat torque curve for towing.

Your dyno sheet is awesome, the BSFC numbers at the torque peak are outstanding -- usually takes a late model cylinder head and efi to get in the .3's. This truck will be brutal.

In between fabricating and machining parts for the funny car, I started plumbing the fuel system for the '63 C-10...

Damn thats some serious torque! 500lbs at 2500rpm! Nice looking build. I plan to install a 455 combo in my 69 Longbed stepside Cebby. This is great insperation, Thanks. Can or will you give up your cam specs? Haul a horse trailer? You mean haul ASS!

Thanks! Yeah, the truck is going to end up pretty heavy...educated guess around 4600+ lbs wet. Regarding the cam, a little north of .560I/.575E on a 110, and 230I - 236E at .050.
