We have 3 dogs and 3 mega cats and tons of deer. No deer has dared enter the "Zone of Death" yet by leaping the fence into the backyard.

The cats take care of the mice that are starting to show up in the house and the dog patrol goes after any thing else that they can chase down - moles, squirrels, rabbits, vultures, snakes, shoes...
They do know to avoid cats with the Freddie Krueger claws.

The pup is around 3 years old and is a Jackhuahua, or maybe a ChiRussell. He is a Jack Russel with the too small head of a Chihuahua. Looks like he was a factory second at the Jack Russell factory. He has the bark of rabid pitbull, though.

Chihuahua mixes are kinda cool. We have a Chihuahua/Golden Retriever mix that is a very fun dog...

Basically she is a large Chihuahua with retriever like fur and a long nose.

Cool.

We are without power, internet or phones since monday. Using wifi out of a parking lot at the moment. I have a 20 year old generator that is barely holding up....

Ok,Steve......FINALLY sat down this afternoon & figured out my scanner issues....

I took these pics almost 20 years ago.

Jim,the now deceased X-owner owned a record, tape & vid store in this mall & the black W66 was parked where you see it,all day,6 days a week prior to the last restoration.

When I was taking these pics,I jotted down the VIN & sent it off to Vintage Vehicle Services in Oshawa.

The Dec 1/93 confirmation letter (posted at the beginning of this thread) was the result & I gave a copy to Kurt when he had the car apart in his shop about 7 years later.

Default Part 2

These were taken part way through the resto, just after the turn of the century & KURT,the mastermind of the mechanical & interior portion poses in the background.

I will be paying him a visit in the near future & I'm sure he will be happy to let you pick his brain....

SWEET CAROLINE!!!!

Thanks for the photos. That really made my week!
I am currently sitting in a parking lot using local wifi, watching the Gas-Zombies stand in line with their gas cans, swaying up and back. Instead of moaning "BRAINS" they are moaning "GAS".

Dont see us getting power restored for several more days. The wife and kids abandoned me to go to her moms house in upstate NY.

So..that would make you a "Solitary Man" then, correct?

Hang in there Steve - glad to hear you survived Sandy.

5 days and counting...still without power, internet or Cable TV. Drained the fuel out of Gramma's Firebird for the generator. (it was old gas anyway and due for some new fuel). They finally cut the trees down that were across the roads by my house. Maybe the electric crews will come soon...Isn't that what the Donner Party said?

I wonder how many classics were lost in the storm?

Extended power outages and downed trees -- been there, done that.

God Bless, Steve, wish I could help .
I saw a whole yard of yellow taxi cabs flooded, then I noticed the roofs. All were brand new old stock Fords, just painted and wired up for roof lights, not yet used...Now who would just leave them sit there and not move well in ADVANCE of this? Maybe the city yellow cab co wasnt buying, time for a write off..??
I would hope people with classic cars would have smarts to move them BUT I saw 50-60K SUV's floating under buildings in sub terrain parking garages, NOT too bright....
packing people in like sardines always makes the damage factor go very high, very quick...They managed to get the marathon stopped, now wonder if those big generators will get used to help some folks

If the electric crew is from out of state and NON union, I suspect they too will get sent away,by union thugs... and the wait will be longer...
