+1!!!

That is what I have been saying. I have been asking for anyone to post if they received headers! But no one comes forward. NOT A SINGLE PERSON!!!

I'm under the impression he doesn't give a *****.
+1 again! It appears that Ron, Aron or anyone associated with this actually gives a rat's *** about those people who gave them money!

If you want more orders, you better inform people what is going on. With no information people will begin to question what is happening. You cannot expect guys to give you money and then ignore them when they make inquires. I also have to mention that I have asked those who may have actually received headers to post because Ron/Aron seem not to have the time to post. But still there is silence. So most of us assume that no headers are going to customers....

It is exactly one month ago today that I posted asking for someone to let us all know what is happening.....So today marks yet another month of silence. It is now seven months since I ordered the headers and a month ago I asked Aron/Ron to let us know anything. I emailed, sent a PM and no response.

I have a project that is almost complete. I need headers and I will get some Doug's headers if necessary! Am I to wait or not? If I am to wait... how long? SILENCE...... I would be the first to show off Tribal Tube headers, but alas... I have none.

So I will wait until the last minute because I want the headers I paid for... but I may be forced to complete the project with Doug's headers instead.

I got mine, I will have to look back to see exactly how long it took, it was a while, but I will be glad to go get pictures of them and post, they are currently in a storage unit about 20 miles away. I will say that they are by far better looking and seem to fit tighter than other "not sure of the brand" headers that were on my car ,I have sice had them coated black, I know the communication thing Sucks, But it seems like everytime Ron or Aron or Deanna speak, it becomes a feeding frenzy for everybody to attack, I see both sides, but hell ,maybe try to be optimistic "I know it's hard" and see if it doesn't get more money flowing in to where he can get more product out ..... As I see it Ron sacrificed his whole way and quality of life to hold true that he would get all owed Headers out, I know it doesn't seem like it to some, but he has way more backbone than I or others to stay true to his convictions , I know this will open a whole new can of worms, BUT ! I think if he was doing this to ROB OR STEAL , He would have found a easier way , since I doubt he is laying on the Beach in the Islands somewhere, Best I remember reading they were attempting to build Headers in Non Heated shop..

I spoke to Ron yesterday on the phone and he wants to fill in all orders, if he wants to rip people off he can file bancrupcy and he doesn't do it because he's a standup guy but.........thanks to some people here ( and yes i can understand that you're pissed of that you have to wait a long time but scaring off custumors isn't the way and you only make it wayyyy harder for Ron to finish the headers) he get's less orders and like Aron said and other most people would have a different business model but he tries.........very hard.If people tried to understand that he can do his work and finish the product you paid for.
And for crustysarge , offering money to find him and start a lawsuit will not work so just wait. Its a ****ed up situation but are you a selfish prick that only thinks about himself?? More people have money in it and are willing to wait.

And for the guys asking i can't give a phone number so don't ask, mail Ron and if he wants to give it to you he'll mail you.

For the record 4 sets went out the last weeks but not everybody visits these forums or takes the time to post.

I still haven't heard from Ron. I seem like things have not improved since the last time I posted. If someone can tell Ron to contact me I can see if I can help. I understand he may shy away from working with others after the problems he had in the past. A "friend" tried to screw me when I got started but, I was able cut them loose and move forward.
I maybe able to get his supplies cheaper through wholesale. If this doesn't get fixed soon it looks like everyone is going to lose.

The community shouldn't attack each other over this. The people that have paid and not received anything have a fair complaint. They are starting to worry if they have lose their money. That's why communication is really important. As a vendor it's our responsibility to keep your customers informed. I have my bussiness cell phone number on my website and the cell phone is set to notify me instantly when I get a email, PM, or post on one of my threads. So, I respond in moments and answer questions.

So, my offer still stands to help and send Ron this link http://legacygt.com/forums/showthrea...08-112489.html This pretty tells everything about me. He can see I just trying to help. Bryan

Cool I just received a set of O ports last week.......

And will have my set of D ports next week - they're in USPS.

I believe Ron is working as best he can in this situation.
He told me he had several sets of headers built and ready
to ship, was putting together funds for shipping supplies.

So that's three happy customers and four sets of headers
received recently. That's more than just one, huh?

Don't sound like a crook to me.......

I plan to order another few sets to help keep things moving.

I could post pics, but we all know what they look like - nice.

In this case, I verify that patience has its rewards and the
squeaky wheels get greased.......or ignored.......or both.......

It took about a year to get mine.I agree if the communication was better that would help but the product is a work of art.I dont believe you will find a better set of headers anywhere. The wait sucks I know. The lack of communication sucks.Hopefully headers will start going out to everyone that has ordered a set.

I received my D ports back in January and posted when I did. I forget if I put up pics, but as was mentioned, we all know what they look like.

Default Ron is A-OK

Hi Everyone,

I just thought I would add to the recent positive discussion about Ron Watt and Tribal Tubes. I spoke with Ron yesterday on the phone and found him to be professional and informative about the status of my headers (first generation firebird round port). He let me know that there were some slight bugs with the first set that he built and he wanted to get the exact fitment right so he could get me a first rate product.

I am satisfied and know that he will deliver on my pre-paid headers.

Aron, too, has been very, very helpful in facilitating the sale.

There is an artistry and craftsmanship at work here and that can take some time to
get right with a brand new header design.

Best Regards,

Nathan in Chicago

Hmm, two years for me. I recall this email from Ron below, eager for my cash but then no product. Sounded so good, just like the story goes, too good to be true. I paid, no product. Very simple process, you pay and you get a product or you get screwed.

Call me anything you want. Bankruptcy only works for those who have something to protect like a REAL business or assets. From what I understand Ron has neither. Call me a Pri@k all you want, I simply don't care.

I want my money back now. And for those poor suckers who keep sending cash, go ahead, then you will be in line like so many others. Ron will screw you over one way or another.

FROM RON on 12 Nov 1010:

Hi John,
I have D-port headers for your 70' Lemans. They are the best fitting headers out there not like your Doug's headers problem. I saw your post on PY but I dont make it a habit to push my headers on the boards unless someone mentions them. Or Im letting everyone know of new things.

Since I know the Pontiac header fit problems by heart, I make sure to look for them when designing the headers unlike a Chevy/Ford guy working at a header Co like Doug's. I had many issues with them 5yrs ago that cost me 1000's to get them correct without them ever fessing up to it.

I dont have 1 7/8" yet but the tri-y's act like a larger header on higher hp motors.

When I say that I mean that one of the dyno tests KRE did on a very popular engine combo they sell that Jeff said the 2" Hooker S/C's worked best in all previous test. The 1 3/4" tri-y's made equal or more HP & Tq throughout the whole rpm range than the S/C's. Except for the peak HP rpm which was 1/2 hp less than the S/C's. If you put any 1 3/4" header on that motor it would make less power compared to the 2" S/C's. This motor made 593hp on that test.

I wont have time to make a 1 7/8" pattern until mid of next year & there will be some testing on all my headers to find out there limitations

I can have a set ready to ship on Mon raw or a week later coated. They are $450 set + shipping. The coater charges $225 & takes a week.

I will need your zip for shipping & I also take Pay-Pal

Thanks

Ron Watt

Too bad it has come to this! Nobody responds anymore. I was serverly chastised when after a year of waiting I pulled my money back thru paypal some time ago. I feel sorry for those that lost their money and I feel sorry for Ron for having a failing business that should have flourished with the proper planning. I guess what I said a while ago has come true! It has turned out to be a piramid scheme where that last folks end up holding the bag!

Default Trying to get my money back through Paypal

I know it has little chance of success, but I am attempting to get my money back through Paypal....

The is the message I put in the the Dispute Resolution area of Paypal...

================================================== ============

"I am formally requesting a refund for non delivery of item paid for.

The transaction took place on March 27, 2012. I was told I would receive the item no later than four weeks. I have waited over six months. I have tried multiple times to contact, you, the seller through the forum, yet no response. No other contact information is available.

The product is automotive exhaust product (headers), known as Tribal Tube Headers. These are suppose to be custom made to order. However after repeated inquires, no response has been received. Please see the following link to an automotive website that will provide some insight to the issue.

http://forums.maxperformanceinc.com/...d.php?t=655574

You, the seller purports to make custom exhaust manifolds (headers) for vintage Pontiac vehicles.

I believe, you, the seller has engaged in borderline criminal activity and has no intention to deliver the product I ordered. You, the seller, either through neglect or willful deceit, has taken money and has given nothing in return. You, the seller has many complaints lodged against you and thus I am adding to these complaints.

I simply wish to receive the product ordered or be refunded the amount tendered for the item. $515.00. I realize that much time has past, however I believe I have given, you, the seller the benefit of any doubt and you have failed to deliver on the transaction.

Therefore I request the item be delivered or that a full refund of the amount of $515.00 to be returned to my Paypal account.

Do not hesitate to contact me if any further information is needed."

================================================== =====

I will keep you all informed if anything happens!

Hmm i am getting that sinking feeling ,paid Aug 27th. Why isnt there one response from Aron here.
I talked to Aron for a hour long distance and thought all was good, and also promised a 4-6 week delivery because of getting them coated.
Sent a message to Ron last week, still waiting for a reply.

Let us know how the PayPal issue works out, 6 months is too long, I doubt they will come through.

I am at 2 years this month. Scam.
