Question Quickest TRUE Pump gas NA Street type car ride?

I know this was done and argued (LOL) a few years ago. Not trying to start a pissin match........................... but curious to see who has been the quickest so far with 'out of the gas pump' 93 octane pump gas, N/A and a street "TYPE" looking ride.
Need to know what personal goals I have to shoot for?
No E-85, this is just for my fact sheet.

Combo, compression, car, etc?

On this board, I'd say MJM421 has one of the faster true street car running 9.60's in his 63 Lemans.

Default Define "street car"

Pdude, define "street car". Is there a weight requirement to your question? Does it have to be all steel?Does it have to be mild steel? Or is chrome moly ok? Does it have to have a factory firewall? Does it have to even be a Pontiac as long as its Pontiac powered?Licensed, and insured? Does the fastest "pump gas street car" only to be driven and never trailered? Or only driven to and from track? Is there a requirement on what distance this fastest pump gas"street car" is to be able to drive if it's a true street car?N/A or with a bit of juice? If with a bit of juice what would be considered the limit?

Personally I'd like to say your car or heck even MJM's cars they are absolutely beautiful cars!I know once upon a time Robin ran well in the pump gas drags and even had to make a cruise before he ran......Mystic Jeff's car ran pretty dang good not sure if it was pump gas but I was impressed. All I can say for 100%fact is all those cars are beautiful cars!!!!!And impressive in there own respects.

I'd say mjm421 holds the title. Goat-Racer (Brian Rock) is close as well. Remember his car weighs nearly 4,000 lbs and runs on 91 octane cat wizz

Slowbirds car was by far the fastest, but IDK if it was a true "out of the pump" pump gas deal or not.

ps. Wait... I mean Gach has the fastest pump gas deal with a 9.45 E.T.

X2

He has always had one of the quickest TRUE street cars (he drives his stuff everywhere) for many years. At one time he had a TRUE 11.20 car (65 LeMans/GTO) that would beat most cars he went up against on the street . The 63 Tempest is just as streetable and a lot faster.

Yes, the 3-5 mile (from the trailer to the Car Show) Guys have been around for years, Rick Dyer - Danny Scott).
But Mike has ALWAYS driven his cars (as has his dad).

Well, ""street "TYPE" looking ride"" sounds like a race car with no stickers. Can't compete with that.

Mine was lincensed, insured & driven on the street at times. Ran on 92 octane from BP, so yes right out of the pump.

Sorry Brian, real street cars keep their front wheels on the ground. You must have a race car...

Naahhh, It's the real mufflers and tailpipes that give me all of the "cheater" weight out back that makes the nose so light!

Then you're the man to beat, and you didn't do it by putting your engine in a roller skate

There you go P-Dude. You need to run deep 9's to be "King of pump gas" around here.

Don't think that we have any 93 octane pump gas in Michigan from the normal pumps PLUS our crap has 15% corn in it).

15% oxygenated pump premium...heck that's like a pump gas equivalent to Q16.
