I predict that bill will say (well over 12k) to duplicate in every post and it will not bother me like he thinks it will.

Sorry, after the vitriolic name calling session you went on yesterday I doubt anyone will engage you in your game.

I predict if bill saw my heads with stainless exhaust valves and an almost stock exhaust port with regular valve seats he would be in disbelief.

So is that 7k or 12k genius?

What if they didnt have heads, whats a set of bare castings cost, $1800 or so correct? So bump the price up to 14k if they call for a quote with nothing at all. Id rather have warp 6 heads when getting in the 14k territory, anyway, I made my point.

Glad I could break this down in a way even the morons can understand '12k to duplicate'

If you say it doesn't cost 12k then talk to Gaby, its his price

I sat back and read all of this trainwreck of a thread. I will say as an outsider who is wanting to build a turbocharged street car I know what professionals I will be calling when I save up my money. I have no dog in the head war fight and no loyalties. All I have for heads now are a lowly set of SD prepared Kre Dports. I have not got my car running since they were done, but the work looks top notch.

The one thing I will say is a good philosophy to live by is "Speak softly and carry a big stick; you will go far"
That is all.

Here something else to consider, if you look back on several occasions Jeff and Jack were asked how much did their heads cost, no one ever got a straight answer. Now this could be because they got a good deal from Gaby that is not the regular price, or it could be because 12k for an ehead top end is embarrassing. Not saying they cant spend their money how they want or should not have spent it that way or Gaby is wrong for charging that price etc, no one really cares, the point is 12K TO DUPLICATE.

Yes I agree, so will you be saving 12k or 7k for eheads or 4k for cv1's that can do the same thing as the more expensive eheads?

Had I been able to afford Ti valves...add another 2K. Robin told me on the phone the year before he has 35-40hrs of porting to his single fo. If I had chosen to pay for 35hrs of intake port work, how much extra would that have added?

I could see it costing me 12K for my top end had I been able to afford some of the fancier items.

For a top end of a combo that runs 8.4's at 3300# seems to be reasonable and in line with any other head combo at that level.

Bryan

Nice to see you on here again...

That would be cool. That's also a goal with my street car down the road too.

They dont, but remember these are the same guys who used to ask for flow sheets and dyno numbers from everyone else when they questioned something about that persons build, yet they never post their supposed 1000hp dyno sheets, then just last night they finally admitted neither of them have an actual 1000hp dyno sheet. No one cares what they spent, it was merely asked the last time because someone posted cv1's were the best bang for the buck, of course they jumped on that topic.

But like usual they never showed their dyno sheets for heads that cost 12k to duplicate compared to $2995 cv1 heads , see? Because that would have proved cv1's are the best bang for the buck. So now here we are in another thread where they claim cv1's cant run with out dated junk eheads, never mention the fact they cost 12k to duplicate, understand?

... well i can understand where you're coming from, i would just ask that anyone in your positition to try and understand that we (Roland & Myself, and the head) have been working our tails off on this development and we have many projects in the works, many of which are close to being finished, (maybe more than i should've allowed) but non the less, we are dedicated to seeing this through ...

... we are doing our best to get these results that people are demanding at the Kinsler or better n/a level, but for the past 4 years we have had our lively hoods threatened, bashed, trashed, poked and joked and prodded by these people, this is our source of income, this is our jobs, and these people, whether they want to listen to it or not, are constantly threatening our ability to sustain this program with all of the trashing & bashing ...

... jokes are one thing, but this ugliness is simply not funny, we are not bashing or trashing Jeff's, Jack's (or anyone else that partakes in this activity) livelihood or ability to earn a paycheck for themselves and their families, anyone that was under this level of continued trashing would defend themselves ...

... so with that being said, i would like to extend my apologies to you, and anyone else in your position, as this mess is not intended for you in anyway shape or form, and what you see from me in these situations, is nothing more than a man fighting for his livelihood, after a long time of abuse from these people, and no one would want there business or products to be the butt of these peoples jokes and insults, especially not for 4 years now, and counting ...

... so i would ask that anyone in your position, to please not use this as the sole source of judgement towards me and my character, as i have a very strong integrity level, and i work hard, for both myself, and my customers, and if someone really wants to know for sure, then i would hope you would allow my customers be the ones to define me to you, not this madness ...

... again, i apologize to you ...

Holy cow, you can get complete heads & intake for 4k that will run 8.4s @ 3250lbs. If that truly is the case they should be flying off the shelves!! So how many CV-1 are doing this?
