I think its sad how these "headers"pop up once in awhile and people get offended etc..mad dogs or dougs..pretty simple and proven.

Steel...so far. Sounds like there was SS in the works but good luck with that.

Unless there's some sort of actual company producing these and have a "stock" ready to sell (through Pontiac vendors) this isn't going to work for everyone, that's a shame because these are nice & just what many need.
For a street car you can't go wrong with the RamAir Restorations 2 1/2" R/A manifolds, I'm sure glad I did.

I think they are made out of un-obtain-ium. ;-)

But, really. I have been working with a new fabricator on one of my new products. He just finished and really did a great job. He also showed me a set of headers he made for his turbo '71 Nova with a 350. The workmanship was top notch. So, I thought about you guys. I talked to him about making a prototype for Pontiac for me and he was game.

This is how I work. I find out if there is interest. I get input from the members on what they are looking for in the product. I figure out how much it's going to cost. Let the members know if that is a price they would be willing to pay. Next, I make the prototype. Do the final product test fit and open a group buy. I take a deposit of half the price and start production. When production is done I notify everyone that paid a deposit that I need the balance then, I ship everything UPS.

I got calls and was warned not to get involved with this tribal tube drama. So, I put out this offer. I have an exhaust manufacturer that wanted to work with me and said they can make exhaust in steel, stainless steel, and even titanium. I also have business relationship with a young gun coatings and I can get the headers coated in a ceramic thermal barrier like is put on motorcycle pipes to reduce under hood heat.

I been doing this for over 3 years and have great track record. I don't run pyramid schemes. I keep it simple. You pay, you get headers. I don't take any money till about to start production. That way if I'm not able produce the headers I don't have to pay anyone back. I can send you links to my many group buys. Everyone always got their products.

Let me know what you think. First, I have to get my new products in production. In a month or so I should have time to work on this. I will start a new thread for my headers if this is something you want . Bryan

Let us know how progress goes Bryan. Hopefully things work out for you. I don't want to infringe on your efforts to market a new product.
If things don't work out, I could possibly start something on my own.
Since I have a set of original H-O racing headers, I could possibly have a jig fabricated using my headers. My fabricator can lay a tig-weld like pearls on a necklace.
Everyone knows my business track record with the WFO assemblies so no issues there.

I was just trying to help out other members that got burned on this deal. But, if you can get it made sooner at a fair price then go for it. The products I'm working on at the moment are for turbo Subaru's. I still would have to find a car for test fits. Let me know what you are going to do. Bryan

I also got the same E-Mail from Ron with pics, and actually it had your name (Dann)at the start of the message .
He called me couple weeks ago and we had a long talk about stuff.....,it was very informative. I cant even try to cover what we talked about but progress is being made.
I was hoping for a shipment this week but it looks to be a little longer, getting mine coated.

I have a local fabricator who does headers for the NASCAR crowd he has seen my tribal tubes and he says he can duplicate them for about 1500 a set

Is he going to make his own headers or copy the tribal tubes headers? I could have just found someone with a set of tribal tubes headers and copied them. But, as a person that designs, manufactures, and sells his own products I could never copy someone product.
