I did locate an impact strip through an alternate source, just hope that it's nice enough to install. What a tough item to locate when they're not being manufactured. Would still entertain any "NOS" strips out there, as I have another 74 to do.
Thanks!

Today may be the last day of our Holiday contest. Make sure you're making a useful post if you're online today. It could double your winnings

John, This is the Pontiac Parts Book Listing for the strip: GRP 7.831 STRIP, Front bumper impact bar rubber; '74 All X, full width (except with bumper guards) Part # 494164. Olds is the only other make to share the part. Hope this will aid in your search for a better strip then you have.

John, The separate "Dealer Price Schedule" (gold covered book) shows what car lines share each part with a number code. 1-Buick, 2-Olds, 5-Chevy, 9-Caddy
