I'd like to know the rim diameters and tire sizes on the "Coke" panel truck. Rims appear very small diameter for that era, with giant tire cross-sections.

Anybody else on this planet campaign a M/T hemi Pontiac for eleven seasons? ... or has built a record breaking DOHC hemi four cylinder Pontiac? ... or has driven a couple laps of Nuerburgring with Tri-Power Pontiac power?(back in 1967) ... or has a Pontiac born the same year as Jim Wangers? (1926}

...the photo is original, it has been the same for the 45-50 years I have seen it, it used to hang in our local Coke plant from at least the 1950s thru the last days in the 1980s...taller tires/smaller wheels were possibly to haul a heavier load |

...Rays Drive In...once a chain of log cabin style restaurants...my first job was at this place...this one existed from 1949 until approximately 1994, when it was burned to the ground...the insurance claim was not paid, it was not rebuilt...I still have one of the menu boards in my garage

That was the first thing I noticed too. They look almost like aircraft wheels and tires.

Here's a guy that's truly dedicated to the traditional "engine in the front, axle in the rear" layout. Must have been a beast to steer!

Side pipes!
Had'm on my 68 FB(late 70's/early 80's). And my buddy had'm on his 73 FB. Still think its the best exhaust sound.
