We picked up a 69 Judge a few months ago (yes its real...we have the PHS.) Its a carousel red, black int, RAIII, 4spd, with the HD rear end and with a hood tach...non AC car. Its in decent shape but needs restoring...it has minor rust in the usual places...front fenders and hood. The engine is not the original block (I believe it is the correct code but not VIN matching) but the heads, intake and carb are all correct. The car will crank and drive in the yard but it has been sitting for 23 years so I wouldnt even attempt to drive it on the road.

I am considering selling the car as is vs restoring it...we already have a 65 Tri-power, a 69 Ram Air IV GTO we just finished and are in the middle of a Ram Air III we need to finish and a anther 65 in paint as we speak, so this one just really isnt a big priority I dont guess. My question is to the right person, what ball park is this car worth as it sits if we descide to sell it? All the ones I have seen sell have been restored.

FYI,I paid 16.5 I believe a couple years ago for a car in much the same condition but the hood was not buckled.The only drive train parts not as born with was the block and starter.Correct carb,dist numbers matching trans etc.The car is gold so im sure the orange would bring more.Hope that help some.Tom

Looks like a worthy project. Are the hideaways original or were they added later (pretty rare to see them on a Judge)? I'd ballpark it at upper teens, maybe $20k.

A couple of items on PHS: Hideaways aren't on PHS. Lamps-CRNG is for Cornering Lamps, which aren't present on car in the pics. Power Strg - W/T doesnt include Tilt, W/T stands for Wide Track, I believe. Tilt was a separate option.

I do like how this car is optioned. Too bad original block is gone. I would say it's worth
$16-18k.

Also just noticed it picked up a wood steering wheel along the way that isn't on PHS.

Cornering lamps are kind of odd on a Judge anyway, with the Judge sticker and the lamps in the same area. Mid to high teens is my guess on the value.

Other than the cornering lamps and the RedLine tires its optioned almost like the early Pattern Cars.

The fenders have been changed and the cornering lamps deleted.
Most don't want them anyway on a Judge.

Hide-Aways are usually always a welcome addition.

is Ram Air Induction complete from the functional hood scoops to the lower carb pan - and still functional. (about 1k variable)

code and date from block (1-2k variable)

codes and dates from heads, intake, distributor (more $ variables)

body build date on cowl tag

4spd VIN verified

3.55 posi verified as still intact (500-1000 variable)

condition of trunk lid (500-1000 variable)

condition of dash pad

all these things separate the 15k cars from the 20k and 25k NOM cars.

Wouldn't hurt to check/post all the date/code stampings from around the valve stems of the Rims. Looks like they might could still be the originals.

Everything like that can help the value.

looks to me the car hit something and the whole front end was replaced(removing the corning lights and adding hide aways) because it looks to me that the front end paint faded at a different rate then the rest of the car

To me it looks like the fenders and quarters both match up with similar patina. The passenger door looks brighter than the rest if anything. Might be the lighting or angle of photo. The stripes look the same and line up., I'd say it's all original.

Looks like a great Judge project! As far as value, I would say $15-17 as it sits now. Running and road worthy, probably add $2K to my estimate.

Looking at the body and the sheetmetal in particular. If it is as solid as it looks that is a big bonus to the value. Having matching trans and factory rear too a bonus. Interior looks to be original and dash not cracked.

Nicely optioned CR 4 speed Judge still very desirable has to be 18-20K car as I see it...

Concur with BVZ - neat car, but still lots of questions to answer on what original equipment it still has. As for the body, how are the quarters, wheel houses, trunk pan, floors, etc, is the frame tweaked/bent (i.e., how bad was it hit in the front), what does it look like under the hood, etc. Somewhere around $15k is a good starting point, IMO.

The problem is its to late its not 1987 anymore people if you really wanted to know value on these cars you would have asked HURSTCOLLECTOR before he passed away. They are worth what someone wants to pay end of story quite asking the same old question
