May want to tell the owner that the engine isn't the original?
And that E190 isn't 5th week of 1969?

Very nice looking Judge though.

That car looks very much like a Judge that was sold at Russo and Steele in Scottsdale this past January. It was a very nice car, but had some of the nickel and dime issues that really eat at your pocket book

I think Mayfair Maize Judges are hot. I can think of a lot of other colors that aren't as interesting as this one.

This one was bought just up the road in Camden SC. I believe I saw it in Myrtle Beach back in the late 80's/early 90's. There was a gentleman who lived at the beach and worked at a men's clothing store across the street from Myrtle Mall. He drove/bought and sold GTO's for fun and spare cash. It's great to see it's still around.

Pretty car.
I don't think Firestone has made that type of SS Radial tire in 20+ years.
The window sticker looks like a repop that's been "aged" to look like an original.

YEAH! you'r right Barron, nice to see another one here and there. I think it is the fifth one I have seen besides mine. Unless it's one i've seen before... Nice lookin car though, not perfect, but still a nice lookin car. The original engine in mine was abandoned in 1977 or 1978 when a rod exited the side of the block. But I did locate a correct block and 48 heads. Not sure how close to dates they are, but what I could find around here.

Like I told my wife, if the girls don't get the extra numbers matching money out of it after i'm dead, sorry about their luck! It will still be a nice ride for the grand kids to enjoy.

Denny

I like that color on a Judge. It does not seem likely that a 03C car received the GTO on the dash though.

I have an old magazine with a Mayfair Judge on the front. I should dig it out.

Didn't any GTO that did not receive air-conditioning get those GTO plates over where the center air-condition vent is on air-condition cars?

No, the GTO & for that matter LeMans dash plates were phased out in January or early February - there's a production notice on here about it somewhere.

Saw this car in the latest Hemmings Muscle Car Mag, it sold for 32000 at Russo and Steele in Jan. Im sure its the same car because the magizine mentions the non matching but date coded motor.

Rear diff isn't original, either - the 5084 diff is the nodular rear ("N" cast into the top) for the Heavy Duty Safe-T-Track (incorrectly referred to as Safety-Lock in the ad) option. Also came with the forged axles and 4 pinion diff. They did get the XH code right.

Car would have come with a gray iron peg leg, but I forget what ratio you got with an auto car w/o A/C.

Mayfair wasn't available in '70. Perhaps you're thinking of Sierra Yellow? It's more beige than yellow and not as attractive to my eyes.

The only car I've seen that I like in that color is a Bamboo W-30 with gold stripes.
