She only finshed that good, because several people were in accidents while racing hard with each other and put themselfs out of the race.

Yeah, I watched the race and knew that...

There was 1 car that was 1 lap down, 1 that was 2 laps down, 2 others like Danica that were 4 laps down, 1 that was 5 laps down and after that the rest were either in the garage or 8 or more laps down.

Another way to look at it. How many cars that aren't as good as her's and underfunded, finished better than she did? The answer is many.

Not that I like the guy, in fact I can't stand him, but if Kurt Bucsh were in that car he probably would have won. He did quite well in the underfunded Furniture Row car.

I watched the whole race and it looked like she was just doing laps and staying out of the way. She got into one guy or one guy got into her, can't remember, and I think it scared her. Even my "Danica loving" wife said Danica looked like she was out there for show

Motorsports.com (Patrick, driver of the No. 10 GoDaddy.com Chevrolet for Stewart-Haas Racing (SHR), dealt with a car that was loose on entry, tight in the center and loose on exit in the corners of the .75-mile oval.

While crew chief Tony Gibson tried a series of chassis and tire pressure adjustments, nothing brought the GoDaddy.com machine to life.

Patrick finished four laps down in her first Sprint Cup Series start at Richmond. “We were just so tight in the center of the corner,” Patrick said. “We just couldn’t loosen the car up enough to make the center work the way we needed to.)

I've got a feeling that she really doesn't know how to communicate her handling problem to her crew chief. Things like"it just won't handle" doesn't get it. I could be wrong but that's my gut instinct.

Not sure how many of you saw the Nationwide race, but the stands were about 10% full, so they closed off most sections of the grandstands, and the crowd was all in the grandstands in front of the pits.

Coming back from a commercial break, the TV camera caught two people on the top row of a closed grandstand, no one within 500 yards of them. They were enjoying the race, having something to eat.

It was Danica and Ricky Stenhouse.

I was hoping Ricky gave her some tips on how to drive the Richmond track, but I guess not, as we could see by her finish in the Sprint Cup race.

Cutting Panica some slack until the NHL playoffs are over, at which time the Blackhawks will be Champs once again!

I noticed she's standing on carpet. That's funny because driving on a super speedway like Talladega without F1 type down force is a little like driving on ice.

"NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Sunoco Rookie of the Year contender plays "Shoot the Puck" at Chicago Blackhawks game"

Insert "pretender" in place of "contender" and this headline is accurate....

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. will be the 2013 Rookie of the Year - and it's not even a close "race".

Already many blogs about how she'll be voted into the Sprint All-Star race.

I was watching the Blackhawks game live, and when they introduced her, there were about 50% boo's, 50% cheers. They seemed to have left out that introduction!

I was actually surprised at the boo'ing, but I guess many people are pretty sick of hearing about her.

She'd better "Duck the Puck"!

I think that gal is twice as hot as Panica...

And will probably have a more successful NASCAR career!

For most drivers, at a race like Talladega, that's no big deal.

For Iwanica, that could be a problem because she has trouble passing cars and/or staying on the lead lap...
