That's perfect. Congratulations on your win. Your car is awsome. I think everybody here loves it. The way I see it is, you won both top honors. While the first place trophy is absolute proof of how fine your Pontiac is...your grandson's car show experience way outranks it. Your the coolest grandpa ever in his eyes.

Thanks it's been a long project. I had a lot of help and this forum really helped. My wife was real understanding and my son was the driving force behind this. He has helped every step he was putting stripes on the roof at 2:00 am Friday he said I got it go on too bed. He worked a lot on front spoiler to get it to fit good. We still have some issues to fix but you always will . We may go to the TA Nationals this year just to see how things go.

Congrats - great looking car, but all the better because of three generations being involved in its restoration! Enjoy it in good health!

Craig.. you car is one of a few I have seen where the front end is situated correctly.. Guess that's from being original.. Great stance on your car..

Yes Bill the coils are original to the car and it sits as Pontiac intended. Very slight front to back rake. |

It's unreal how much my car has settled down, when I was putting it together the front end look like a gasser because it was so much huger than the rear. But it has come down to the way it was when I bought it.

It will if you pull it forward 12 feet and leave it there. (In other words, be better if it doesn't stay like that!)

Craig, your car appears to need a complete detailing. Drop it off at my place and I'll give it my full attention, free of charge. Should only take a week or two.
On another note, does anyone here know how to roll back an odometer? One never knows when that kind of knowledge might come in handy. Not that I ever would(disclaimer) |

I just might drop it off....But since it only has 1680 miles on it I need to refrain from driving it.
On the other question YES

Nice day here today, so I drove out to the barn where I store my 70 TA while it's awaiting restoration, and took it for an exercise run...
