I was going to type something like, "who in the hell would want those puke green wheels", but then I realized somebody already paid money for them.......

Actually, somebody paid additional $$ to have them painted that color after initial purchase.

I found the ad copy to be refreshingly free of ebonics, for the most part. And somebody must have instilled the need for a college education. Props for that.

THAT'S AWFUL! WHY would someone do that to ANY automobile, let alone a Pontiac?

The way I see it, those guys may have saved another Pontiac from the junkyard. Bringing it "back to normal" won't be too hard - if '70 Catalinas ever become very desirable.

As I was reading the ad, I was looking for the punch line. Turns out that every sentence is a punch line.

You weren't kidding, Greg!

First off; I'm pretty sure that's a Toyota; not a Plymouth. I'd say the year is between '83 and '87.

How about this brain teaser...

Quote:
im asking $1500 with the radio and tires,$1000 and ill keep the tires and battery.
Just to increase the confusion, the ad title pegs the price at $500.

This one probably found it's way on here in the past; but just in case you missed it:

http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/motorami...152856762.html

It's even a Pontiac! (kind of.)

Also he said it was going to be cheap to fix, ya! only if you would call cheap about 3K to fix. I ried to ask a question but he has set it up on scambay so you can't go in & tell him how big a fool he is. Sub model, ya if you take off about 2500 lbs & about 14 inchs. Then you may have what the GTO is.
