MAYBE, Mike, but odds are low. Brake Issues and the Driveshaft too short according to his last couple of posts.
Why do I need a chinese calculator for a parking meter, Jim? Over on the east side (Grosse Pointe area) the meters typically have a bag over them and free parking. That being said, remember the first blow was thrown by the followers from your camp. I actually was hoping that your head would take Pontiac racers to the next level. It did with the DCI/All Pontiac/Cerelli Tiger head, the KRE/SD head, and the Butler/Edelbrock head. Sad really. Suggestion, take your "little boy" into the bathroom, wash his mouth out with soap, tell him to keep his mouth shut, and then "get her done" on the product line and the Norwalk race for next year. A few more salesmen like you and a few less like "daftgto" would take take Jim a long way farther with his program, in my thinking. Robin is also an example of a successful program. Means little if your fighter never shows up at the fight. Or makes a poor showing. These are all opinions from a guy sitting in the seats. But I have seen a lot of fights and can judge things pretty well for being senile. Tom Vaught

MJM421, you've done as much or more as anyone to associate positive performance and respectability with the CV1's.
Robin set a mark but has been too busy to actively run the car. Dick will I'm sure when he's reached his goals with the current motor. We have many racers with current builds going on and that is unfortunate. Bankbook will raise the bar once his is finished. 99% of the people associated with the CV1's are good, stand up people, but that 1% always shines the bad light. Good luck at Norwalk, I hope to make it up there this year. |

Not everyone went to the next level. I should have had John M work his magic on my CV-1.

Going fast is one thing and duplicating is another.Duplicating away from home is also another.........Geise is doing well at duplicating how come your having a tough time at it? Lil Jack you hauled the mail in the 7's that one time and it was awesome really freaking awesome! How come you havent done it since? I was really becoming a fan! I guess since we are talking E-Headed cars I may as well throw Travis & Rodney in the mix....They seem to be able to duplicate well at tracks within the 400-600 mile range from there home track and do it with class! Making every single Pontiac guy out there proud! I'm content at being a "slow" guy in this conversation because I'm just trying to dial my car.I'm working on the other 9000 variables that go along with racing other than what's between the frame rails in front of the firewall.

Laugh their azz off every time we see numbers and track times from those CVWhat slugs! I'm quite happy w/ my dyno numbers and even had quite a few congrats posted when I posted my dyno #'s. I had no idea that the ECM guys were laughing at me. Some SERIOUS comradery goin' on on this forum. I can't bring my GTO to Norwalk this year. I had an opportunity to make some $$ but I needed to spend some to make some. I've found that sometimes one must make sacrifices. I for one would LOVE to have my GTO @ Norwalk. I wanna show it off and do some racin'. You EAST Coast guy could elbow each other in the ribs everytime you got amused from my presence and I could have a nice time and talk w/ everyone else that actually came to participate and meet new people w/ the same interests and passion for the Pontiac crest as myself. I won't be able to "crack any ECM mafia azzes" w/ my GTO and that won't bother me at all. I'd just be happy to be there amongst the cars and the people that love what I love. Guess I'd hafta enjoy being ostrasized by some for my cylinder head choice and feel inferior because I only made 700hp w/ my lil' pump gas engine. Some people encourage others and some people berate them for doing what they love......won't change me at all. I'm a pretty happy and well adjusted individual MOST of the time and ya can't please everyone. See ya all at Norwalk. If ya see a fat guy and his chubby wife...a skinny guy guy and a tall guy w/ a wide brimmed straw hat, stop over and say hi. Doesn't matter what kinda cylinder heads ya have. I'll be happy to talk and shake your hand. (I'll be the fat guy) Maybe the ECM can stop and elbow me in the ribs a time or 2
