Default 1970.5 Trans Am RA3 Barn Find

Hi, I’m listing a 1970.5 Trans am on here for my Uncle in Northern NY (doesn’t do computers)
he ordered this car new his senior year in high school from Lee Pontiac in Boonville NY, the car has sat at the family farm all of its life hasn’t seen any really road time since the mid 1970’s. Car is Lucerne Blue With Blue interior has 35k original miles on it(still wearing its original from tires) Lacquer is cracking on the doors and has hardly and surface rust on the door lips underside is rust free. The interior is mint on the car other than cleaning or replacing the carpet. Just received the PHS documents on the car and show as a RA3 car with auto (still is) has headers on it original exhaust manifolds are still with the car. The engine was Balanced and blue printed sometime in the 70’s when looking the block over I found no engine code on the block and no VIN but where the Vin is suppose to be it has SR81572 (Service Replacement) and on the casting location 9799915 (Ram Air IV)
not sure how it got there but the person that did the balance and blue printing to this day remembers the block as something special. Motor runs Strong, car has lots of documentation from delivery. Car is located Near Lowville, NY and he is asking $45k his name is Tom and Can be reached at 315-771-4022
Thanks

Far as I know its the motor it came with it was delayed in shipping a little over a month maybe because of that motor? exhaust manifolds are RA3, the intake is RA3 didn't see 614 on the heads on it I actually couldn't make out any numbers on them other then what cylinder they are he may have more info to offer car is from before my time.

Cool car!

Nice to see one that's not been messed with much........

Just an FYI......MOST 70 Ram Air III T/A's I've seen with SR blocks WERE the Ram Air IV one, same as yours& the block # looked like it was stamped by a drunken monkey....as well.

what a cool time capsule, love the large pontiac letters on the rear, 8-track sitting on the console, period tires, just like it was left some 30+ years ago...way cool !

Very nice TA. If I still lived up that way I'd go take a look see.
