I haven't looked at that Megasquirt.
I have a harness and injectors. The ECM used in trucks and cars will work, they are on eBay for around 100.00. I could have a throttle body adapter made up relatively easy. The crank sensor shouldn't be a big deal. Just thinking I could probably have the system for around a grand! You can bypass a lot of the Sensors by programming!
I was just curious if anyone has tried it!

I just ordered one of these intakes, even though I don't need it at this point

And I used the catalog2013 code and it worked. $168.87 shipped to my door

What is the difference in the Victor EFI manifold compared to the standard Victor when used with a carburetor? Runners look different, and wondering what is lost using the EFI version.

Just ordered one also...been looking at this for a while. Free shipping, what a deal, couldn't pass it up. Now I have to get a decent Dominator carb to go along with it. Taking the next step up!

Sent out 2 other sets to PY Members yesterday. PM me if you need a set.

I used a victor efi intake with edelbrock efi rails, 62 lb short siemans injectors, scorpion throttle body (super short height to allow this to fit in my 74 TA), gm rj502 harness and ecu on my 455 build a few years ago, fairly simple efi system without spending a real fortune, ran good on dyno once I got everything figured out, Smitty

On a good air day we saw around 580 hp, humid warm days even with correction factor saw hp numbers in the high 560's to 570's (I will look back at my notes for exact numbers). Kre cnc d port heads, 462 ci inch 455, streetable roller cam, could have saw much more hp with higher compression and a cam more suitable for drag racing but this is going in a street car without a ton of gear and kept compression streetable so could just run premium, Smitty

Smitty- The EFI is a 4500 series, right? The T/B above is spec'd for a 4150- how'd you mate them?

I got the Edlebrock #8716 4500 to 4150 adapter on mine.

Using that w/a Holley 4150 list #4780 800 cfm carb for the time being.

It adds some height (2"),so be warned about that.

Not a problem for me as the race car has a FG 5" cowl hood on it,matter of fact I still got enough room to stuff the 1/2" NOS crosshair plate in there too,and FYI that's with a drop base air cleaner using a 4" tall element,LOL.

Other option would've been to use a 4500 bolt pattern 4150 throttle body assembly for the 800 Holley DP carb.

Would have been lower profile for sure,,,but that also would've cost more...

EFI applications likely have similar hardware available I'd imagine.

I recently set mine on the engine to check fit,so far it looks like it's gonna fit real nice.

And Tom V's EFI plugs are really nice as well, just the ticket for those using carbs (thanks Tom).

Also,a member here (batman) was cool enough to sell me a spare set of those "sale price" Edlebrock EFI rails, should I ever wanna wet my feet in the EFI relm (thanks again Rick).

I'm really pleased how all this played out.

I actually bought my Victor efi intake with 4150 flange and had it sent to SD performance to be port matched/modified to match the heads before the 4500 flange ones went on sale but I am sure someone sells a throttle body that mates up for what you guys are doing, Smitty
