Default 1968 Tempest 350 HO on the Bay...

Looks decent, has this one been discussed before?

Does it have factory gauges or idiot lights? A photo of the dash would be nice. Great car that I would love to have. I have a Alpine Blue 68 GTO. This one would look good next to it. Thanks.

It has the lights, no gauges and no clock but it does have a pillar mounted tach.

Did the HO's get the RA exhaust manifolds like the 400 HO's or the logs?

That car would make a great Pure Stock candidate! An M-21 & a 3:90 rear and it would be mid/low 12's.

Watching the video closely it appears to have the logs.

From what I can gather from the Chassis Parts Catalog there are only entries for 4 sets of exhaust manifolds listed for the 68 T/8.

Two sets of Ram Air's dependent upon the engine code.

One set of 400 H.O.'s

and

One set T/8 exc. 400 H.O. and Ram Air.

Also interesting is that the H.O. manifolds for the WS and YZ engine codes and the Ram Air manifolds for the XP and XS engine codes carry the same part numbers.

So this would lead me to believe that 350 H.O. was equipped with the logs.

But I could be wrong.

If I hadn't bought the '00 Formula I'd be out there checking it out. Next to a 70.5 GT-37, this is on the top of my list...
The only thing I noticed outside of the custom seat was holes on the dr rear quarter at the bottom for what looks like trim? Thy are not on the pass side though, could've been replaced or mudded...

Great looking car. The 350 HO in 1968 didn't have the HO manifolds, just logs.

This car is still on e-bay. One day left. Someone buy it so I am not tempted.

I have been e-mailing the owner. He had a buyer the last time it was listed on e-bay, but the guy backed out. Something to do with the wife saying NO.
