It would be good to have another track, but still 2 hours and 20 minutes for me.

I've been in contact with him.

He has a long road ahead of him but he's doing
It correctly by getting many different groups involved.

Fingers crossed.

From what I heard about Thompson is, they are building a road course to rival the best of them. if you're seeing the dirt moved, then it must be underway.

with the proper motivation, deeeeep pockets, and good backing (like IHRA and others) it could be done. fingers crossed here as well.

with all the popular heads up classes these days running 1/8th, a new first class facility would have a good shot of making it imo. especially if the can also keep the "regular" guys happy as well.

He is also planning on a 675 ft track to continue the 100 foot drags and also allow racers to test 60ft.

2 hours following Chris.

If we'd get a track closer to home I could drive to the track and wouldn't even need to tow. The Leman is fully capable of driving that far, but it's a long way to have to run home to get the truck and trailer if something breaks!
