Why is a 2 liter of soda 99 cents but a 20 oz bottle of the same stuff is $2.00?

- or - why gas prices fluctuate so wildly? Why can it be $3.09 on the way in to work, and then $3.40 after work, at the same station?

Similarly - what happened to diesel? For my whole life diesel was cheaper then gasoline. What caused that to go upsidedown?

I guess there are 3 of us. actually 4 as I have a friend who agrees too. Not against playing these games and having fun, just do not get the extreme dedication by so many over college and pro sports and certain 'teams' and excess time dedicated to watching that stuff. I would rather go to the dentist.

Ok - just thought of one (forgive me if this is any of you):

I never understood the "what driveshaft will fit my car?" questions.

Usually the guy will say "I just installed a new whiz bang (whatever) motor and new (whatever trans) - what driveshaft will work in this combination?"

You just spent boo-coo bucks and a bunch of time and you are going to throw some junkyard shaft (that almost fits) in there? Why not just spend the $300 and have a new, correct shaft made?

Never understood that one.

I also never watch sports on TV. A waste of time. I'd rather do anything else...the GTO always has a list of fixes/improvements, for example.
