Nice GT-37! And don't think you "payed up" for it, you got a heck of a great deal on it!

An Oshawa build sheet is a skinny little ticker tape so I still might get lucky.
Gold interior needs a good cleaning but that's it.
I would like to put a few questions out there, Rubber floor covering , available ?
The GT-37 stipe , I seem to remember its close but not exactly like the '69 Judge is that right ?
And yes I did pay up for it . 6K. But to me it is what it is. And having a few '70's
to restore , a time capsule to go by is invaluable.
Nice car...Baja Gold.

Very nice to know the history with this post car, a great bonus to go with the documentation. Is the console covered with carpet? It looks unusual.

Rich, the paperwork notes 1,543 '70 model 23327's sold in Canada,
then 23 out of 152 Baja gold Tempest/T-37 2 door posts, sold in Canada, 23 were T-37s which had the WU2 option.

You are correct Pinion.
GM of Canada is pushing the envelope even further now.
Never seen them break down # of cars with certain option build, to color.

Default GT-37

Cool car! I found this one on craigslist yesterday.

http://dallas.craigslist.org/dal/cto/4178718574.html

1970 1/2 Pontiac Tempest GT37 - $1 (Iowa)

1970 Pontiac TempestGT37 odometer: 66 VIN: 233xxxxxxxxx

Sitting since 1977 with 66k miles on the odometer. PHS documentation. Owners manual. Pontiac Protect-o-plate included. True Tempest GT37. Base model with the gt37 trim package. Original 350 w 11x heads and 3 spd. manual with a hurst shifter. Hood pins, no trim, gto exhaust long gone. Frame is good. Floors are gone due to dent in driver door and window being down. Have replacement door. Interior totally shot. Great project car. Still located in the horse lot. Only 1419 of these cars were built. I have seen very few originals. Granada Gold paint. Email any questions. Serious collectors only please. Taking offers thru email. Thank you. More pics at www.deadgoats.com
