Well, that came out good on the end of this thread, if it's the end. Or back on track.

I've thought about this "moving forward" and it's all about perspective.
The majority of the Pontiac hobby is always going to be centered around 041 cams and iron heads, but now with all of the aftermarket parts available, it is possible for that majority to move over to aluminum heads and street roller cams. It's all relative regarding there will always be a few on the cutting edge. 25 years ago it was racers like Pat Donovan who were hacking the exhaust ports off of R.A. IV heads on factory blocks...these days there's a bevy of new racers cutting a new edge, only now they have better parts. What Pat was doing 25 years ago was new and expensive territory...it's no different today, just with better parts.

My concern in a nutshell and moving forward is as long as vendors advertise on the clowns site, even if the adds are free, and racers/head porters get on there and put up with his sheite, it gives some legitimacy to his idiotic ramblings.
If anyone, being a newbie in ponchos were to be directed to the site, they soon would be saying wtf, sell their poncho stuff and move to another brand. Last edited by J.C.you; 12-12-2013 at 07:50 PM. |

Saving my pennys, Jack I really am. And looking at what it would take to get a large solid boss (in the core patterns) where the bolt drops down lower.
Tom Vaught ps The Visner Billet stuff looks nice but probably a lot more $$$ vs the Ford SOHC stuff already in production out there.
