Don't ALL wives do that, along with leaving all the cabinet doors open?

I've read stories where guys have removed all of the cabinet doors and put them in the attic when they do that. Like training a child.

Man, if I didn't live in this crapfest of a masshole state with a 10 round magazine limit, I'd take you up on that! I just picked up a SW MP 15 .22LR and the factory 10 round mags are no place to be found on the planet earth!!!
Come on down to a free state and we'll go blastin'

Congrats on turning it into a positive presentation for your Mrs. Your same situtuation which could be a big negative and contention, difference is your positive spin, equaling domestic harmony. Excellent.

OMG. Mine will open a cabinet door/drawer and leave it and look at me like I had 3 eyes if I question the need to have it open while she is 25 feet away doing something else. Have you ever run into an open drawer?

CFL's don't put out nearly the amount of heat the incandescents do. I run some LED bulbs at the store and in my trade show booth and they get warm too......just not as warm as the incandescents do.

Sure have, David. At my height, the drawer usually hit in a VERY sensitive area.

You will still be able to buy 60w yellow 'bug' bulbs, and 150w and 200w incandescents are still available. Three way bulbs also. They are just two-filament bulbs. screwed into a regular bulb socket, you will get the lower filament. So a 50-100-150 three way bulb will give you 50w. You may have to go to a good hardware store to get these 'specialty' bulbs, but they can still be purchased.

200Watt bulbs are $8 each and WallyWorld doubled their prices on incan bulbs here.

Since NG is cheaper vs electric here, rather my HE furnace do the heating.

They are $4.59 at your neighborhood hardware store. If they are getting $8.00, they consider it a 'blind' item, and are raping you.

Yup. Wally has drastically raised their prices when looking at certain products. Ironically I stopped one corner over at a Lowes and found everything cheaper. Bought a cart load of 100watt clear halogens for $3.50 or so and they are so-called double life. Now I'm good for a while

The Wal-mart near us raises their milk prices .50 a gallon every weekend, then lowers it back down on Monday.

Just grabbin' a little extra profit...

All the motion lights are going to be useless with the new compact FL. I have noticed that the prices on exterior floods has gone through the roof at Lowe's if they have any on the shelves. $10 for the individual ones here. I guess everyone will just buy the $26 LED?

All the people with dimmers putting in said CFL are also screwed. I know some are compatible, but your average consumer is not capable or willing to take the time to sort it all out at the store. This was one of the most bone-headed legislative moves ever. I have many customers who are in their mid 70s and older. They simply can not see well enough with the crappy light from CFL or LED. The light produced is too diffuse, and in many instances it is dangerous for them to have reduced vision in areas like kitchen and bath.

I love how all the Pkgs say that the 60 watt incand. is the new 100w incand. Like saying that makes it true.

We use the halogen in the living room in three lamps. They give off great light but they don't last for crap. I replace one a month.
